Exploring Art

Exploring Art is an opportunity for adults of all ages to get together to explore different artistic styles and media. There is no instructor for the general program as this group of dynamic explorers meet at the O’Brien Art Studio to learn, inspire and challenge each other while working within a supportive group.

If you are interested in participating call the Gallery at 250-782-2601.

Throughout the year, the Dawson Creek Art Gallery offers a comprehensive program of art classes and workshops for all ages. Not only does the gallery provide a series of after-school classes for ages 6 to 12, it also schedules weekend and evening workshops for adults with local and regional instructors in a wide variety of artistic media.

Throughout July and August the Art Gallery partners with the Kiwanis Arts Center and Northern Lights College to offer the Peace Country Summer School of the Arts featuring programs in visual and performing arts as well as general interest workshops.
